Ph.D - Management
Eligibility:
* Master’s Degree in Engineering/Technology/Management/Science/Commerce/Social Sciences or any other equivalent qualification approved by the Academic Council of the University with at least 60% marks or an equivalent grade from Xth standard onwards.
* Applicants with more than 5 years relevant managerial experience may be a relaxation of 5% in their Master’s Degree aggregate marks or equivalent grades (fro instance a person with 55% marks in Master Degree with 5 years or more experience would be considered equivalent to a person with 60% marks but having no work experience).
* Applicants having professional qualification such as CA/ICWA/CFA/CS/LLB (both 5 years integrated and 3 years after graduation) with minimum 50% marks and 5 years of professional experience.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology with at least 60% marks in aggregate and 5 years managerial experience.
Admission & Selection Procedure:
* Applicants fulfilling minimum eligibility requirement as specified in these Regulations shall be required to appear in a Research Aptitude Test/Interview by FRC/CRC.
* The FRC/CRC shall test the potential of the applicants for conducting research and his/her academic capabilities through a process of formal presentation and/or any specified aptitude test.
* Based on the academic record and the performance of the applicant on the Research Aptitude Test/Interview, etc. the FRC/CRC shall recommend to the Academic Council the names of the successful candidates, along with set of course recommended for the candidates (existing courses/specially devised courses) for admission to the PhD program.
Duration:
The minimum period of study and research shall not be less than 3 years (36 months) from the date of provisional registration of the candidate. However, in case the performance of the research scholar has been exceptionally good the period can be reduced by six months with recommendation of the FRC/CRC and approval of the Vice Chancellor.
Fee Structure:
Rs. 30,000/- per semester (Rs. 35,000/- per semester in case of international candidates).
Mode of Delivery:
Part-time mode with optional Personal Contact Program of 7 days in a semester at Dehradun.
